Now, the negative economic effects of the pandemic are further threatening retirement savings and security. The long-term implications of the pandemic and recession on retirement security have yet to become clear. However, the financial vulnerabilities among workers, especially women, are increasingly evident.
Retirement Security for Women Amid COVID-19 examines the retirement outlook of women compared with men. It is based on findings from a survey conducted in April 2020, a time when large segments of the economy were shutting down.
