Pandemic Impacts

COVID-19 was the most severe public health crisis in more than a century. In addition to its health-related effects, the pandemic upended every aspect of daily life including employment, personal finance, and retirement security.

During and after the pandemic, Transamerica Institute and Transamerica Center for Retirement Studies have conducted surveys of employers, workers, and the general population to understand the impacts of the pandemic and gauge subsequent recovery from it.
