Managing the Road to Retirement: Retirement Savings Sentiment and Behavior Among Select Age Groups compares and contrasts the retirement expectations, preparations, and outlook of workers in their twenties, thirties, forties, fifties, and aged 60-plus. Each age range cohort has unique opportunities to improve their retirement outlook and there are opportunities shared by all.
This survey report is based on findings from the 10th Annual Transamerica Retirement Survey which included more than 3,400 workers. The survey was conducted between December 2008 and January 2009.
