Building Retirement Confidence Amidst Financial Challenges reports that American workers are stretched, and their retirement confidence has declined at the onset of the Great Recession, the worst recession since the Great Depression of the 1930s.
The research report is based on findings from the 9th Annual Transamerica Retirement Survey which included more than 2,000 full-time workers. The survey was conducted in 2007.
